BROOD MARES & FOALS  RING 1

CLASS 1 BEST BROOD MARE OTHER THAN THOROUGHBRED CALCULATED TO PRODUCE A HUNTER STINTED IN FOAL & CONFINED TO MARES WHICH HAVE NOT PRODUCED A LIVING FOAL IN 2023.

PRIZE MONEY €155 (1ST – 4TH) ENTRY FEE €10

CLASS 2 BEST BROOD MARE OTHER THAN THOROUGHBRED CALCULATED TO PRODUCE A HUNTER WITH FOAL AT FOOT. PRIZE MONEY €200 (1ST-6TH)

CHAMPION MARE JUDGED BEFORE CLASS 3

CLASS 3 THE JIM DONNOLLY MEMORIAL PREPETUAL CUP FOR CHAMPION HALF BRED BROODMARE, CONFINED TO CO. WEXFORD.

PRIZE MONEY: €155 (1ST-3RD) & CUP TO WINNER.  ENTRY FEE €10

CLASS 4 MARE PREMIUM

  1. The Adamstown Show are offering 10 Mare Premiums and Prize €50 each to owners of mares any age, whose mares, the judges approve of to produce a high class hunter by any registered thoroughbred Irish draught Stallion or Sport Stallion.
  2. Each mare entered must have foal at foot or be stinted to a registered thoroughbred Irish draught Stallion or Sport Stallion.
  3. Mares must be entered and shown in Brood Mare Class to be eligible for this class.
  4. Any mare that has already won a premium in 2023 is not eligible for this class.
  5. The €50 prize money will not be paid until Certificate has been received from a vet that the mare had a foal by an approved stallion within 12 months from the date of the show.
  6. Only one premium will be given to one person. ENtrY FEE €10

CLASS 5 BEST COLT FOAL OUT OF MARE ENTERED IN CLASS 2.

PRIZES: 1ST 40; 2ND 30; 3RD 25; 4TH 20; 5TH 10. ENTRY FEE 10

CLASS 6  BEST FILLY FOAL OUT OF MARE ENTERED IN CLASS 2 CONDITIONS AS CLASS 5. ENTRY FEE 10

CLASS 7.…BEST BROOD MARE & FOAL. TEAM PRIZE … FOAL 60% MARE 40%.

PRIZES 1ST €150; 2ND €100’ 3RD €70; 4TH €50    ENTRY FEE €10 CONDITIONS FOR CLASS:  NO MARE MAY ENTER THIS CLASS UNLESS THE ANIMAL IS ALSO EXHIBITED IN A BROOD MARE CLASS AT THE SHOW.

PRIZES PAID OUT DIRECTLY HSI WITHIN 14 DAYS OF SHOW OF RETURN OF FORM WHICH WILL BE HANDED OUT OF DAY OF SHOW

 

CLASS 8 … IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION & IVERK SHOW SOCIETY PRESENT

the All Ireland Broodmare and Foal team championship Prize Fund Approx. €4,300

rules & conditions

  1. Entries are confined to registered non-thoroughbred broodmares with a foal at
  2. Each mare and her foal will be judged as a unit: 60% for the mare and 40% for the foal.
  3. This competition is open to animals registered in a world Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (wBFSH) studbook or a department of Agriculture Food and The Marine (dAFM) approved studbook with recorded
  4. The mare’s passport will be inspected before judging Exhibitors failing to produce a passport will be debarred from competing.
  5. Qualified mares may not compete in other classes at Iverk Show.
  6. Foals are eligible to compete in the foal classes at Iverk Show.
  7. Foals must be led at all
  8. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.

 

These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. Rules and the Iverk Show rules.

  1. This competition is open to animals, with the breed code Id, registered in The Irish draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish draught Studbook) with recorded breeding.
  2. If the Foals passport is not to hand the mare’s passport must be ready for inspection prior to entry to the judging Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification. Foals must be lead at all times.
  3. Passports & (Microchips if applicable) should be read by a vet at the Final.
  4. Two foals from selected shows may qualify for the final if the judges and the S.A. agree that the standard is high enough.
  5. One of the judges at the qualifying show must be from the D.H. Judges list.
  6. Foals qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at the show where the final is

  1. This competition is open to animals, with the breed code Id, registered in The Irish draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish draught Studbook) with recorded
  2. two Animals in each qualifying class may be selected to compete in the final provided the judges and the I.S.A. agree the standard is high enough.
  3. One of the judges at the qualifying show must be a qualified Irish draught Horse
  4. Passports & Microchips should be read by a vet at the
  5. Animals Qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at the show where final is held other than qualifying classes for other Finals
  6. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying
