Adamstown Show is cancelled for 2020 and will return in 2021

 

A Message from our Committee:

10th April 2020

It is with a heavy heart that the Adamstown Show Committee have made the arduous decision to cancel our upcoming Show for 2020, due to the unprecedented and exceptional circumstances regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Recognising the ongoing and increased uncertainty of Covid-19 the wellbeing of everyone from our members, volunteers, sponsors, competitors, exhibitors, attendees to the service providers and of course the entire nation is of paramount importance to us all and were all at the forefront when making this decision.

Please stay safe and healthy everyone and be sure to follow HSE guidelines and we hope to see you all at The Adamstown Show in 2021.

 
 

 
 
Ring 5- Riding Ponies

 

CLASS 67

Intermediate Show Hunter for Mares or Geldings 4yrs & Over. Exceeding 153cms but not exceeding 158cms.  Suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 25th Birthday on 1st Jan 2015.
 
Prizes: 1st €35; 2nd €25; 3rd €20; 4th €10
 
Entry Fee: €7

CLASS 68

Intermediate Show Riding type exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 158cms. Suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 19th birthday on 1st Jan 2015
 
Ridden Intermediate Championship for the Mrs J. Spring Crystal  
(Intermediate Championship confined to 1st & 2nd Prize Winners Classes 67 and 68)
 
 

CLASS 69

Ridden Hunter Pony Class not exceeding 15HH (153cms). For Ponies, Mares or Geldings 4 yrs old & over. Exceeding 14HH (143cms) but not exceeding 153cms.Suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 20th birthday on 1st January 2015.

CLASS 70

Ridden Hunter Pony Class not exceeding 14HH (143cms). For Ponies, Mares or Geldings 4 yrs old & over. Exceeding 133cms but not exceeding 143cms.Suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 17th birthday on 1st January 2015.

CLASS 71

Ridden Hunter Pony Class not exceeding 13HH (133cms). For Ponies, Mares or Geldings 4 yrs old & over. Suitable for and to be ridden by children who have not attained their 14th birthday on 1st January 2015.

CLASS 72

 

Ridden Show Starter Stakes.For Ponies, Mares or Geldings 4 years old and over not exceeding 133cms.Suitable for and to be ridden by children who have not attained their 12th birthday on 1st January 2015.

* Champion Ridden Pony Confined to 1st & 2nd Prize Winners in Classes 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72.

 

CLASS 73

South East Ireland Connemara Pony Group. Open ridden Connemara Ponies 4 yrs old or over to be ridden by children who have not reached their 16th birthday on 1st Jan. 2015

South East Ireland Connemara Pony Group. Open ridden Connemara Ponies 4 yrs old or over to be ridden by children who are over 16 yrs on 1st Jan. 2015

Local Riding Class for Unregistered Ponies and Novice Riders who have no first prize this year – U10.

Pony Pairs. For Ponies 4 Years old and older, not exceeding 14.2 Hand (148cms). To be ridden by children who have attained their 16th birthday on 1st January 2015.

CLASS 79

 Pony Fancy Dress. Open to ponies of all heights & rider of all ages.
